Mein neues Projekt: Kaffe Fassette´s Quilt Ebay

Nun habe ich mir schon das nächste Projekt rausgesucht obwohl die anderen noch nicht so richtig weit sind. Ist das normal? Aber egal - ich habe mir den Quilt Ebay von Kaffe Fassett ausgesucht. Da die Stoffe von Kaffe zwar traumhauft aussehen aber leider auch Traumpreise haben werde ich die farbliche Gestaltung etwas ändern. Und zwar sieht mein Entwurf so aus:

Dann habe ich in allen Stoffen gewühlt die hier so zu finden waren und habe dann die Quadrate in 4,5´´ ausgeschnitten. Die ganzen Karo´s werde ich in kräftigen Farben halten und die halben in nicht so kräftigen.

So, nun muß ich mich erstmal wieder um meine kranke Familie kümmern.

Ach ja, Pink Dots schreitet in großen Schritten vorran. Die Hälfte des Bindings habe ich schon mit der Hand umgenäht.

Der Quilt Engel lieben Rosen wurde irgendwie umkonzeptioniert da ich viele Panele und Stoffe gefunden haben auf denen Engel und Rosen abgebildet sind. Zu denen passt aber wiederum nicht die Stickerei. Also werde ich mir da etwas anderes ausdenken...

Ja, ich denke das ist normal. Irgendwann kommen die Ufos dann wieder zum Vorschein und die Fertigstellung ist meist gar nicht so schlimm. Werde mich jetzt auch mal an mein großes Australien-Ufo machen. Aber ich hasse das Binding einfach.
Kaffe Fassett finde ich übrigens auch toll, habe schon drei Bücher von ihm und stöbere unheimlich gerne darin.
